Fun in the Sun!

My friend Kim had sent me some very cute clothes (and the HAT) when Jovani was born and he now finally fits into them!!! He is so cute. (i know I say that he is cute in every post... but darn it he is!!!)

He has such an adorable grin... I thinkthat he just loves the camera... Or maybe it is the silly mommy behind the camera making funny faces at him! hmm maybe that is where he gets those silly grins from.

He is just so funny to me... he is so cute... how could I not post 3 picture that look almost exactly the same? beats me...

Two Months Old

My baby is two month old, can you believe it? i can't. I can not believe that he is even born yet... but that he is TWO MONTHS... time is flying by, and he is growing up to fast! ...and just for the record i like his hat...(it has ears!!!)
We are still trying to get him to lift his head up... He will do it when he is laying on my belly but not on the floor.... he still doesn't like to be on his belly... although he looks pretty calm in this picture it doesn't stay that way for long.

And I thought that I would add one with out the hat... although I would have to say that I think that he look pretty darn cute with that hat on... but he looks cute no matter what way in my eyes anyway.

Playing with my toy

I got this toy from my sister it has little animals that twist and turn and bop up and down, while music plays. Jovani just loves it... he hits and kicks the little animals and the music plays again. He also stares at the zebra stripes legs... that on the other had is alittle weird becasue you would think the music and animals would keep him more entertained... but the black and white I guess are better for his eyes to see.

This one I also find cute... it is like he is reaching out to me.... MOMMA!!! And his shirt states that he maybe little but he is the boss.... so true.. so true... the world revolves around him... and he seems to know it.

A little play time on the floor is always a good thing! As you can see from the following pictures he like to play on his back but, he does not like to play when he is on his tummy... He is quit the cutie!

2 month Doctors Visit (@7weeks)

My sweet little baby had his 2 month doctors check up even knowing that he is only 7 weeks old and he has 10 (count them) 10 days until he 2 months old. Anyway he had to get his shots... I didn't know that that is what they were going to do... he was very brave and only cried a little... I am very proud of my big boy! He is now 10lbs 7 oz. Which makes me in the 50th percentile for his weight. 70th percentile for his height and 75th percentile for the size of his head. His big head only means he has a lot of brains to hold... lol

I took some cute picture oh my little Jovani as he slept... Did i mention he was a good little sleeper... as in during the Day!

Pictures at Grandma's House

Last Thursday we were by Grandma's house and I decided to take some pictures of my little man in his new polo shirt that was given to him by his Great-Grandma. He is so cute I could just pinch him. He is a cutie isn't he? I know that this picture is a bit blurry but it is my favorite out of the bunch. He is a cutie!


I love the smirk on this face in this picture. I know he is a bit sloched but he is only 6 weeks old and his neck isn't that strong to hold up that big head of his. As you can see he is sitting on grandma's new chair and I prayed that he wouldn't spit up on it.... or we would of both been in trouble. Also he looks a littke drunk. (which makes him look a lot like daddy!!)

Thats right I was waiting for him to spit up and then.... He sneezed... I know this picture is a little gross but it is also really cute... and even worse is the fact that Grandma HATES boogies!!! So the fact really is that she would be more angry if there were baby boogies on her new chair then a little spit up... oops... poor Grandma

And finally if you look closely at the white stripe... you will see his little baby belly! it almost like a little beer belly (just like daddy's! shhh don't tell him).

One Month Old

My Little Man, isn't he adorable? Well and if you can't guess by reading the title he is One month Old!!!! (on June 22, which is when his pic was taken) Can you believe it? Boy time flies by... I can not belive that my little man is already one month old. Well if you can't read his bib it says i love my daddy... (in spanish!) He is a great baby and he sleeps in his car seat if you can't tell. It tend to be easier on me if he is right next to me at night. He makes a lot of very strange noises from low gurggles to high pitched squeeks! I now find them amussing but they scared the crap out of me when he first started them! He is beautiful and I adore him. I want him to grow up... and yet I want him to stay a little baby for as long as possible! I know he is getting older due to the fact that I had to adjust the car seat straps.

My Baby Boy, Jovani

Here is my son Jovani Anthony Rodriguez... as of July 2, I will be a stay-at-home mom... so it is just me (his momma) and my beautiful son. My little boy was Born on May 22, 2007 at 8:38 in the morning... he was 7lb and 15oz and he 19.5 inches. He has dark brown hair and eyes.... and his head is slowly turning from cone to perfect round. Everything was going really well, he did suckdown alot of amniotic fluid which caused him to gag (which still scares the crap out of me) and vomit fluid. he also weezed ALOT and still does.... so we were planning on taking him home in the morning... well our little world was turned upside down. The nurse noticed he had a heart murmur... they took a round a tests and they weren't satisfied with the results so they did his blood presures and oxygen levels and his blood pressure was different from his leg and arms.... so as we had everything pack up and in the car and the doctor came in and told us that we would not be going home so soon. They needed to do an ecocardiogram (excuse the spelling) and we needed to go to childrens hospital and have the heart docotor read the tests there. (Tears were on stop ALL DAY) So my baby boy had his first ambulance ride (with out his momma!!!!) well MANY hours later we found out that he had a small hole in his heart in the wall between the right and left ventrical which makes his heart pump extra already oxygenated blood back threw the heart so he is working extra hard and buring more calories than a normal baby. So by the end of that hospital visit he was at 7lbs 3 oz.... But after all of that they did allow all of us to come home at 9 pm. He is a big trooper. WE will have many more appointment at childrens hospital to keep an eye on his heart and hopefully the hole will close on its own or atleast shrink alittle. so he should be fine and there are no surgery planned at this time.but knock on wood... I could not ask for a better baby... he is content AND LABOR ONLY LASTED 9HOURS From first contraction to out in the world. (he could of been out sooner but we needed to wait on a second round of antibiotics in my system which took and extra 2 hours... which i didn't care cuz I had an epideral (again excuse the spelling) I just love him and couldn't imagine my world with out him...my life was not full and i didn't even know it. I know now... he is my world... and sleep just isn't that important anymore... I find myself watching him sleep just to make sure he is breathing.
