Crazy daddy

So I try to tell Gil that he is on the Phone way to much and that he needs to pay more attention to us... and he always tells me that I am crazy... he is only on the phone for a minute... At night when he comes home we have maybe 2 hours before he goes off to bed and most nights Noni and I stare at him as he shouts into the phone.... why the person on the other end can't hear him is beyond me because I am pretty sure the rest of the apartment building can hear him. Anyway this is A picture of him caught in the act and yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on you... he is talking on TWO phones at once... He didn't even realize that I was taking picture of him... He is talking on my phone and his while watching some stupid show in the Spanish channel. Anyway I just wanted to show the rest of the world that I am not crazy and that he talks on the phone way to much... and I have proof! (don't mind the messy kitchen in the background... if I only knew how to photo shop a clean one back there I would... it would be a lot easier to do that then actually clean it!)

Morning Routine

Morning routine is pretty much the same every morning... Noni gets up at 3 or 4 in the morning (usually not always) that is when we hit the sofa! He will then fall asleep again and stay sleeping until about 5 or 6am then I change him, and then he jumps for about an hour... in that time he usually poops... and then it is back on the sofa for another hour or so... the we eat oatmeal, with whatever fruit is on the agenda. Then we either change another poop, play on the floor, or back to the jumper... that would bring us to about 10am. Sounds fun doesn't it?
As you can see it is still dark outside and my little man is playing.... I would try to hold off on our night time routine but once it hits 8 he is a bear... so it is a quick bath and a bottle and he is out like a light.... I don't want to screw that up!!! Then he typically only waked up at 11 or 12 and then I give him a nuk and he more times than not settles himself back to sleep. That is life.... or at least ours!!!

We Just love to play!

Noni Just LOVES to play... and now that he likes being on his tummy... playing is more fun than ever... he rolls all over the floor... mostly in one direction.... but it is still cute. He loves playing with the book that he has in his hand because it makes this crinkle sound... which for some reason he loves.... It has really cute chew tabs on the ends of each page with different colors... but he hasn't figured them out yet... I am sure that he will love it even more once he figures out he can chew on them! He also Loves his momma fish... there are baby fish that go inside of her... but he likes the momma fish the most... he tried to get his mouth, and then he gets mad because it is obviously way to big to put in his mouth... he does have a good time batting it around though.

Eaten Sweet Potatoes

For about a month now, My little man has been working on some real food (or baby food....) ! We started with just cereal.... which he did really good at.... a week later we added some carrots... a week after that we are on sweet Potatoes!!!! He loves the veggies and spits out the cereal unless I mix them together. Anyway we have a lot of fun now that he knows what it is all about. I can't believe he is growing up so fast! The pictures Gil took tonight are all blurry... Unfortunately this was the clearest one out of the bunch... I am going to have to teach that man how to use a camera....

The Night Time Roller

So Noni now has gotten a lot better at rolling... infact he rolls when he doesn't want to.... now you might ask.... well how does he do that? Last night He was on his right side sleeping when he usually sleeps on this left side (He rolls that way when I put him down) Thinking this was completely odd.... but much to tired to really care.... knowing as soon as I touch ANYTHING around him he immediately wakes up! So I went to bed and 10 or so minutes later.... I hear him crying... I go in there and he is on his stomach and HE IS PISSED!!!! So I roll him back, put the Nuk in his mouth, and walk to the corner of the room so he can't see me. (If I wait by his crib he will watch me...) He had no intrest in going back to sleep... so I sat next to his crib... nope... so finally and hour later I made him a bottle and he went back to bed.... to find him this morning CRYING again.... yep he was back on his belly....
So I put my pumpkin to bed tonight, I could hear that he was up, but I thought If I gave him a little time, he would dose back off to sleep. NOPE..... he started crying again.... on his belly....
Now I know he knows how to roll back... since when he first started rolling he rolled from his tummy to his back... NOW he gets on his Belly and he is pissed!
Ah the life of motherhood... i am tired and yet I have time to yammer on, on how Noni ROLLS

Helping Momma

I was putting my wash away... and I put Noni on the bed with the hangers and before I knew it... he had the hangers... It was so cute, because he tried to suck on them but they are so oddly shaped that how do you get a hanger in your mouth? Anyway I thought it was pretty cute... but really what does he do that I don't think is cute is beyond me...

Daddy and Noni Time

Gil and Jovani don't get to have a lot of time together... but when they do the have a lot of fun. Gil makes animal noise and Noni looks at him like he is crazy... I think that they are kind of scary and Noni used to cry.... but He has gotten used to them.... Gil will bounce him up and down and pretend like he has dance and Gil sings him every song that he can remember... it is really cute.... I thought I would share some pictures of them together...

A Good Day to Play

It was just another good day to play on the floor... what else could be more exciting in a baby's life? What I don't understand is how he can be all happy and babbling and then when I pull out the camera I get this blank stare as if he doesn't understand that mommy is right behind the little camera...
