6 Months check up

19.6 Lbs (75%) cuz he is a little chunka!
Everything looked really good..... and everything seems to be on track

Still crabby

Today was round two of the crabbiest boy ever. He cried and grunted, he wouldn't eat, he wouldn't sleep. So when it was Bath time Gil stripped him down and let him roll around on the floor for a while. Well I guess that is what he needed all along because he had the time of his life; and on the plus side he only peed once! The bath time came and he was pissed he once again would not go to sleep! What is the trick to get him to go to sleep?

I have no idea what is wrong with my little boy, But man has he been CRABBY, this grunting thing that he does drives me up the wall. He won't sleep. He always want to be fed. I am tired....

Uncle Steven's Birthday

My brother is 18!!!! I still remember him running around the front yard in his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Costume.... kicking and jumping around.... But if he asks you I never wrote anything about him karate kicking in the front yard. When did everyone grow up? Time is going by to quickly, look my mom's little boy is all grown up... What do you think my chances are for keeping Noni little? I already think he is to big!

My baby is six months old

My Baby boy is 6 months today... (and it is Thanksgiving) I can not believe how big he is! He is almost 1... I just can not grasp it. Don't mind the "Duh" look on my brother's face but this was the clearest of the both of them. It was a really Great day. Noni was pretty good all day, He didn't do that grunting thing that he usually does for me, so everyone just went on thinking that he doesn't make a peep. My Grandma couldn't believe how big he had gotten, I am with him everyday and I still don't believe how big he has gotten. Even the girls had a good time with him. We caught Lulee playing nicely with Noni, and they both were have the best time!

Thank God!

The Doctor's visit went really well... the doctor said that he can't hear the murmur anymore but that it is very rare that the hole would closes that quickly. We have to go back in 6 months to check everything again....but for now thing seem really really good. My little man is 18lbs 11oz and 27 inches long. He only gained a pound in 2 months... Gil could of swore that he was over 20lbs. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers... It looks like they worked!!!

The Big Day

Today is a big day..... We are taking Jovani to Children's Hospital for his Eco cardiogram, to see if the hole in his heart has closed... it is very excited... and I am very nervous...I don't like it when I don't know where I am going to what is going to happen. It makes for a very nervous mommy. And Gil is little help, because if I am lost then he is.... more than lost... I don't think that there is even a word for it. I just want everything to turn out and for him to be done with this! I mean come on look at that little chub! He hardly fits in his seat any more!!! He looks like a little burn marshmellow...Cross your fingers for us!!! Let hope for a good day!!

What Babies Find Fun

It is crazy what babies find amusing. If anything has a tag on it that is what he grabs it by. His secerity blanket, toys, even this chair that I feed him in for the time being. He loves Tags.... He is odd... but that is only another reason why I love him.

Jovani's Game

Jovani has this game he plays, that at first glance would scare the crap out of anyone! Noni likes to play with his clothes, burp rags, blankets, really anything he can fling over his head. So you think oh that is nice.... but that is only the begining... once he fling whatever it is over his head it usually land on his face, and to the untrained eye it would look like he is freaking out. He throws his hands in the air and shakes them, like he is scared. Now Gil and I would always rush right over and remove whatever it was that he hand flung on his face. He even dose this with his crinkle book! So one day he was playing on the floor and I look and he has his blankie on his face, and I was rushing over, he took it off to see where I was, and why I had not taken it off for him yet, when he saw me he flung it back over his head, I sat there and watched and he removed and flung it over his head, over and over again.... He thinks it is funny when we take whatever it is off of his head. So we waited for daddy to come home, when he did I put Jovani back on the floor and he did it again... and I told Gil to watch him... sure enough he did the same thing.... Now it is his favorite thing to do... and he does it all day!

Noni's First Snow

It snowed here for the first time today.... As soon as I saw it, I gabbed Noni put him in his snowsuit and brought him outside, so that he could see it. He probably didn't know what I was trying to show him, but I was excited. My son's first snow fall.... none of it stuck.... but it was still a great feeling!
